Robin Davis has enjoyed a distinguished career spanning 50 years as a church organist and choir director, beginning his musical vocation at the age of 15. A graduate of the University of Toronto in Organ Performance, he has served as Music Director at a number of prominent Anglican churches across the Toronto area.
Most recently, Robin led the music program at the parish of St Peter and St Simon-the-Apostle from March 2011 to January 2025. As Organist and Director of Music, he directed a choir featuring 6 professional section leads alongside dedicated parish choristers, supported by Honourary Assistant Organists, Maurice White, Alison Jane and Johan van ‘t Hof. The choir presented annual concerts as well as seasonal Carol Services for Advent and Christmas, upholding a long standing tradition of excellence in choral music in the Anglican tradition at the parish. The choir represented the parish at two tours of the UK, in 2016 at Lincoln and Chester Cathedrals, and in 2019 at Gloucester and Chichester Cathedrals. Robin continues to assist other churches in the Toronto area as a guest organist and conductor.
